A new form of DoS attack is out lined by Wired author Ryan Singel.  A group of researchers have devised a facebook app that looks innocent on the surface, but while it’s entertaining the user, it’s also downloading massive images from another server in the background.  Thankfully these guys are just researchers, but I hope it makes you think twice about installing that super duper food fight app.
