No, Seriously, FOREVER!

I usually don’t complain about game updates on the PS3, because honestly it usually doesn’t take long enough to worry about imo. But I went to play Hot Shots Golf last night after buying the new course last week, and it took FOR-EV-ER to update. Granted, I hadn’t updated it in a long time, but still…I sat through the first update that took 30-40 mins (watched tv while it was going). Restarted the game, course still wasn’t there, so I went to online again (which is where you go to find updates, for some reason it doesn’t look automatically) and it started ANOTHER round of updates that looked like it was going to take just as long.
Canceled it, played some Farcry 2, then started the HSG updates again when I was going to bed. Checked this morning and it’s updated and shows the new course.
